About HTML to Markdown
HTML to Markdown converts only h1, h2 and strong tags to basic Markdown, then removes all remaining tags. Use it for a short trusted fragment whose structure is limited to those elements. It is not an HTML parser and does not preserve links, lists, images, tables, code blocks, attributes or whitespace semantics. For example, `<h1>Title</h1>` becomes `# Title`, while a link loses its destination. Conversion runs in the browser; compare the result carefully and never expect round-trip fidelity.
