About HTML Formatter
HTML Formatter makes compact markup easier to scan by placing immediately adjacent tags on separate lines. Use it for a quick visual cleanup of short HTML fragments such as `<main><p>Hello</p></main>`, which becomes a three-line block. The current formatter does not use a full HTML parser: it does not validate markup, repair broken tags, create nested indentation or reformat embedded CSS and JavaScript. Formatting runs in the browser, but you should review the output before replacing production markup because whitespace can matter inside preformatted or inline content.
